How accurate is the translation?+

Vox42 uses state-of-the-art AI translation with over 95% accuracy for supported languages. Quality depends on a clear audio input.

Does it work without Wi-Fi?+

Yes, over a stable mobile data connection (4G/LTE or better), translation works just as well as over Wi-Fi.

How is my call protected?+

Transmission is end-to-end encrypted. Audio data is not permanently stored. Only the optional transcript remains on our EU servers until you delete it.

Can I use Vox42 in emergencies?+

Vox42 is designed for everyday communication. For medical emergencies, we always recommend using a professional interpreter.

What does a call cost per minute?+

Costs vary by destination. With the Starter pack (€5) you get around 30 minutes, with Standard (€15) around 100 minutes.

Does my credit expire?+

No. Credit you've topped up never expires and remains valid as long as your account is active.

Which languages are supported?+

Vox42 currently supports German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Dutch, Russian, Ukrainian, and Chinese.

How do I top up credit?+

You can top up credit directly in the app via Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit card, or Stripe.
